Another evening behind a screen again, but nevertheless, dressed up for the occasion, and a plate of haggis, neeps, and tatties in front of me.
Slainte Mhath!

Very recognisable if you’ve ever been to a ceilidh…
If you’re in Brussels and would like to celebrate Burns’ Night somehow, next week Friday — I know, still a long wait — the Caledonian Society of Brussels is hosting a special Burns’ Ceilidh. As usual, The Hoggies will be playing, and Gavin will be calling the dances. Always great fun!
I haven’t been able to go a ceilidh for quite some while, so I really hope I can make it to this one… Kilt up!
I know I said I was only going to post the one thing about Burns but I couldn’t resist this portrait of Burns that is literally good enough to eat! Using items from Toby Carvery’s new breakfast menu – including Scottish Lorne sausage and tattie scones.
Today I’m on a fast day, so by now I’m quite hungry and already looking forward to breakfast. A Burns Breakfast like this would be great, but just some bacon and eggs will have to do…
Anyway, happy Burns Night everybody! 🙂
